Latest versions: Master Light: 10 (S2), 2.0 (C3); Node Light: 2.3
If a firmware or software update is required for the lights, then you must update them. Here is how:
Connecting to your Network
1. Ensure the master light is connected to a power source/plugged in/charging.
2. In your device's WiFi settings, connect to the FITLIGHT® WiFi light.
3. Open the FITLIGHT® App and select "Settings" (gear icon)
4. Scroll down to the "Update" and select.
5. You will see the following menu. Please connect to your WiFi network (i.e. in your home and office);
Network name: Name of WiFi connection
Network password: Wifi Password
6. Press: Save details
Updating Lights
1. Ensure lights are connected to the app via WiFi mode (for more on switching modes - view here).
2. Click the status (battery icon) on the app menu bar.
3. In the section: In Use tap on one of the blue light icons:
This will indicate the light you will need to update. Ensure the light is charging/connected to a power source.
If you select the Master Light to update (the light that connects with the App & the other lights)
4a. When you press and hold on to the blue circle icon, the following menu will appear:
4b. Ensure the light is connected to power (tap the highlight light if you are unsure which is the Master light).
4c. Tap "update Master S2" or "update Master C3" (depending on what needs to be updated).
4d. For the Master S2:
(i) The light will turn white while the program is being downloaded.
(ii) The light will turn yellow while the firmware is being rewritten.
(iii) The light will turn purple when it is completed and successful. If the light shows red, the update has failed. If the update fails, try again.
4e. For the Master C3:
(i) The light will turn white while downloading the program.
(ii) The light will turn yellow while the firmware is rewritten.
(iii) The light will turn purple when completed and successful. If the light shows red, the update has failed. If the update fails, try again.
4g. Reconnect to the WiFi light
If you select the Node Light to update (lights that connect with the master light)
5a. Ensure the node light is connected to the app & connected to a power source.
5b. Press and hold on to the blue icon. The following menu will appear:
5c. Tap "update node light"
5d. The light will turn white while the program is being downloaded.
5e. The light will blink yellow while the firmware is being rewritten.
5f. The light will turn purple when the update is completed and successful. If it flashes red, the update has failed. If the update fails, try again.
